Terms of Use

Effective May 14, 2026.

These are the terms for using tarothread.com and buying credits for tarot readings. Tarot Thread is a project of Liminal Foundry. By using the site or buying credits, you agree to these terms.

What you are buying

Credits are a one-time purchase. One credit produces one tarot reading, which we generate from your question, chosen spread, and the cards drawn for you. The reading is delivered as a web page with written interpretation and a spoken audio version. Credits do not expire.

For entertainment

Tarot Thread is for entertainment and self-reflection. It is not therapy, medical advice, legal advice, financial advice, or a substitute for any of those. Do not make important life decisions based on a reading.

You must be 18 or older

Don't create an account or buy credits if you are under 18, and don't use Tarot Thread to request readings about minors.

Refunds

Because each reading is generated by AI and delivered immediately, used credits are non-refundable. Unused credits can be refunded by emailing hello@tarothread.com within 30 days of purchase. If a reading fails to generate due to a technical issue on our side, the credit is refunded automatically.

Accuracy of information

Your reading is shaped by the birth date and question you provide. If either is wrong, the astrological context layered into the reading will be wrong. We don't verify them.

Sharing your readings

Every reading gets a public, unlisted URL. We don't index these pages and don't share them publicly. You can share the URL with whomever you want; anyone with the link can view that one reading. Your thread (your full reading history) is private to your account.

Ownership

We own the Tarot Thread site, the reading engine, the persona designs, the brand, and the underlying code. Your specific readings are yours to read, save, share, print, screenshot, and send to your group chat.

Acceptable use

Don't scrape the site, mass-create accounts, resell readings, or attack the service. Don't use Tarot Thread to harass anyone.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim related to the site or a reading is capped at what you paid in the prior 12 months. We are not liable for consequential, incidental, or special damages.

Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.
